The Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce named Alloway as one of three finalist for the Small Business of the Year Award. The chamber considered 41 nominees in six categories for women-owned businesses, small businesses, emerging businesses, nonprofits and community leaders. Alloway’s demonstrated financial strength, history of growth, and commitment to the local community were key components to its selection as a finalist for this prestigious award.
“Even after 37 years, Alloway continues to push forward with innovative ideas and creative services designed to meet the needs of our customers. This previous year marked tremendous growth for the company, including expansions of various product and service offerings,” states Jessica Begonia, Alloway’s Director of Marketing.
In the past year, Alloway’s services expanded to include respirometry equipment sales and respirometry analysis. And in February 2019, Hoffman Analytic Services started a new division EnviroGo. EnviroGo will be manufacturing and selling state of the art customized mobile field and sampling stations. The first prototype was completed in April 2019 with additional models under development.
“We are honored to be considered for the Lima Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year Award.” said John Hoffman, CEO of Alloway. “We want to thank the Allen County Community, our dedicated team of employees, and our loyal customers for this opportunity.”
Alloway is committed to continuing its success as a small business leader for many years to come.
The winners for each category were announced at the Lima/Allen County Chamber of Commerce’s 17th Annual Awards Gala.
