This week, Alloway Lima completed construction of additional laboratory space to support its growing metals department. This latest addition features new instrumentation, an ICP-MS, which will expand the number of methods by which Alloway can perform metals analysis. This capability will be combined with current ICP and Graphite Furnace instrumentation, providing three different technologies to perform metals analysis. These instruments enable Alloway to continue to be an industry leader in metals analysis by meeting reporting level requirements, minimizing common interferences, and decreasing analysis time, thus improving turn-around times for metals analyses.
In addition, Alloway Lima is putting the finishing touches on a new 2,400 square foot storage facility. The storage building is located directly behind the main laboratory. The physical expansion of Alloway’s facilities allows us to expand our service offerings and continue to meet our customers’ needs.
